How it all started

In 2015, three passionate Filipino businessmen in Edmonton Oscar de la Paz, Celso Andrade, and Bayani Alcantara met each other and had an exploratory talk about creating an organization that will be beneficial to the Filipino Canadian businessmen in Alberta.

On November  27, 2017 , the plan was put into action when 7 Founding Members Oscar de la Paz, Celso Andrade, Bayani Alcantara, Resty Reyes, Marjorie Newman, Aurelio Sumalinog, and Allan Zoleta drafted the By- Laws of the PBSA with the guidance of Atty Joseph Angeles.  With the By- Laws , the Founding Members submitted an application at the Registrar of Corporations, Province of Alberta to form a society otherwise known as the Philippine Business Society of Alberta (PBSA).

As stated in the By Laws, PBSA’s main objective is to unite the Filipino Canadian business owners and professionals to promote the Filipino Canadian businesses thus ensuring a healthy economic and socio- economic base for Filipino Canadian entrepreneurs.

ON APRIL 18, 2018 PBSA WAS INCORPORATED IN ALBERTA!
